Winning the Premiership is the biggest achievement in my career - Daniel Amartey

Ghana defender Daniel Amartey says winning the English Premier League is the greatest achievement in his football career.

Amartey was part of the history markers as Leicester City clinched the Premiership for the first time.

The Ghanaian international who joined the foxes in the second round of the League was able to star in seven League games for the Club.

The 21-year-old is elated to have written his name in the history books of the Club after winning the League title.

“Winning the English Premier League with Leicester City is the greatest achievement in my career,” he told Starr FM’s Henry Asante Twum.

“I won titles during my time with Copenhagen but I will say this is the biggest of all because the Premiership is a big League.

“And for me to be part of the winning team I will say it is a big achievement for me.

The defender who is yet to join the team’s Preseason will be hoping to earn himself regular first team action this season.
