What At All Does Rawlings And His Asaase Aban Wife Want From Ghanaians?

How many people haven’t ex-President Jerry John Rawlings, said were not corrupt, but turned out to be the worms that are ravaging our society.

His words and accolades about who is corrupt or not, has long failed to pass the test of time.

For nineteen years, he was in the limelight, he was the lord of whatever jungle he had created for us, we were patient with him, Ghanaians supported him, some died for him, unfortunately after 16 years out of power, he cannot simply remain in the shadows, where he belong now.

We were all in this country, when he said the late Nigerian leader, General Sanni Abacha, was a nationalist and man of integrity, he said the same of Obed Asamoah, and now his latest found new love, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

We only thank God that, he did not say, President John Dramani Mahama, is incorruptible, because anytime he says someone is incorrupt, it turns out that, the person is corrupt.

What have we done as a people to deserve his incessant attacks on our leaders, especially those from the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

We are, however, not in the least surprised, because as someone who used to be surrounded by matured, refined, accomplished and respectable men, and suddenly find himself alone and unprotected without wise counsel, this is what is remained of him.

Psychology teaches us that, when one person does something repeatedly, the person is considered to be acting crazy and must be losing his or her sanity.

President Rawlings, for as long as he foisted himself on us, has never spared us his ranting. He always assumes the moral high ground, where all of us fall short of his glory.

It is said that, when you want to test a man’s character, give him power, Nana Addo, cannot be compared to any of our leaders, because he is yet to assume the Presidency.

Is this a confession or atonement for his sins when he admitted receiving two million dollars from Sanni Abacha, he must spare us this self-righteousness.
