Chelsea eye shock Ayew swoop

Antonio Conte wants to make the forward part of this squad for the upcoming season and hopes to agree a £12 million fee with Swansea City.

Antonio Conte has made Swansea star Andre Ayew a shock target for Chelsea, according to The Sun.

Chelsea had been linked with the likes of Alvaro Morata and Romelu Lukaku earlier in the summer, but Conte has now ruled out signing a big-name striker this summer.

And Ghana international Ayew is expected to leave the Liberty Stadium this summer, with the Blues hoping to agree a £12m million deal with the Swans.

Francesco Guidolin is already planning for life without Ayew with a move for Atletico Madrid striker Borja Baston, who impressed on loan at Eibar last season with 18 goals in 36 games.
