Maverick boxer Braimah Kamoko popularly known as Bukom Banku has reportedly confessed his “sins’ in public after he claims to be “born again.”
Banku who has been in the news as long as his boxing career spans for all the wrong reasons, left onlookers stunned as he stormed the popular Bukom Square in Accra around 10.30pm Sunday night July 17 2016 to confess series of “sins” he has committed including sleeping with his sister, eye witnesses recount.
The 36 year old boxer who has gained notoriety for fighting in public and beating up people who “offend” him, in the public broadcast, vowed not to attack anybody again as he considers those acts as sin.
The name Bukom Banku has transcended the corridors of the noble art of boxing into music, comedy and politics.
He was recently caught up in a bleaching scandal, where he openly admitted to the act, saying he wanted to become a white man in order to earn him an ambassadorial position to Germany.
If his alleged confession is anything to go by, then his public renouncing of bleaching and his decision to stop the act, may well be in line with his “born again” status.
