NDC Motor Riders Protest Over Hardship Under Prez Mahama

A group of motorbike riders believed to be members of the ruling NDC have stormed the streets of Tamale protesting what they describe as harsh economic conditions under the Mahama-led administration.

The commercial motorbike riders want the government to fix the challenges of the economy immediately or face the consequences in the upcoming elections.

They have also accused the Northern regional executives of the NDC of hindering financial support to them.

Addressing the media during their protest, the angry bikers said they are contemplating withdrawing their support for the umbrella family.

“What shows that the president has visited Tamale? nothing shows. We want him to call us before the executives here to help us, or the party will go into opposition. We have suffered too much for this party, what have we received from him. We will fight for our rights now, we are tired. We also know how to sit and enjoy air-condition offices and rooms. We can also use better things in our lives; enough is enough. The cheating is too much,” they bemoaned.
