Ghana Not Utopia, But. . . Kofi Adams

NDC’s Kofi Adams has rubbished assertions by Professor Stephen Adei, former Rector of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), that the ruling party will fail to hold on to power in the December 7 elections.

According to him, the professor has “never said anything positive about the NDC” and "always wishes doom for the NDC”.

The former rector doubts if Ghanaians would maintain President John Dramani Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the December 7 general election.

His doubt, he claimed, stems from President Mahama’s poor governance over the years.

The former rector, who said he would be shocked if NDC wins, also wondered whether the government could even complete projects the president had cut sods to begin as part of his ‘accounting to the people’ tour across the country.

According to Prof. Adei, the Mahama-led government had failed to solve the current economic challenges, especially, the erratic power supply which had affected all sectors of the economy within the last four years. He said he doesn’t see the need for Ghanaians to vote for the NDC in this year’s elections.

Speaking on NEAT FM’s morning show dubbed Ghana Montie NDC National Organiser, Kofi Adams is very optimistic the electorates will maintain the president for is immense developmental projects across the country.

Ghanaians are not going to vote based on what Prof Stephen Adei is saying. The economy cannot be stable is just a day. Measures are underway to make it buoyant. The Mahama-led administration is working tirelessly for this country,” he said.

Ghana Not Utopia, But...?

The NDC's National Organiser further stated that though the country is not utopia currently, the present administration under President Mahama has made significant and meaningful strides.

Whiles admitting that government has been beset with numerous economic challenges, he stressed that successes chalked are remarkable; comparative to the previous NPP administration.

Ghana under the Mahama-led administration cannot be like heaven, but I can say Ghana has improved under President Mahama...and this deserves commendation," he stated.
