Arrest Kufour: He Betrayed My Father Frema Busia

Ex-President John Agyekum Kufour might be a worried man, even in his retirement, after eight years of merry-making as the President of the highest office of Ghana - his clandestinely despotic leadership is now out of the bag. Nana Frema Busia, the daughter of the second Prime Minister in the second Republic of Ghana, has been giving him a nightmare as she keeps making damaging remarks to the media, exposing Kufour as a vicious character in Ghanaian political landscape. Frema Busia, a former Attorney to the National Security under NPPs administration, has been appealing to the government through Colonel Larry Gbevlo Lartey, the current Coordinator of the National Security, to arrest former President Kufour for betraying the course of her father and the larger population. This was contained in an interview she granted to the Ghana Community Forum (GCF) recently. According to her, the former President has committed sacrilegious acts against the nation by engaging in unlawful acts prejudicial to the public good. Treason is a first degree felony. The legal threshold of treason relates to violations of government policy, usurpation of executive power, objectives or activities of an organization that is contrary to or prejudicial to the public good and unlawful acts to achieve these objectives. Yes, the Kufour Presidency inclusive of National Security annexed under Francis Poku should have been declared prohibited for deliberate unlawful acts prejudicial to the public good. Ms Busia disclosed that President Kufuor should have been arrested for violation of national law, violation of international agreements and cover up of violations. Corruption collusion, corrodes into permissive arms inflows with simultaneous cocaine overflows and sabotage of control efforts; all covered up by veiled assassins, instituting deliberate underhand policy reversals without reprisals. Is this not treason? She queried.
