Ghanaian rapper Apaatse has stated in an interview on ETV that he once dated Michelle Diamond, popularly known in showbiz as Shatta Michy—the now wife of dancehall artiste Shatta Wale.

According to the rapper, he broke up with Shatta Michy because she was into hardcore guys and he is not of that type—adding that,  Shatta Wale is a perfect fit for her.

Apaatse said: “Yes I dated Michelle before she met Shatta Wale. But we were not meant together. You see, Michelle likes hard guys but I’m too soft or calm for her so at a point in time we broke up…she is married to Shatta Wale and is a big deal, am very happy for her .”

After a long silence, Apaatse has returned to the music front with the release of a new video for his song-K3ba last month.
