Abedi Pele Arrives In London Ahead Of Ayews West Ham Switch

Swansea City attacker Andre Ayew's father and agent Abedi Pele has arrived in London to finalise the player's move to West Ham United, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

The Ghana international is on the brink of signing for the Hammers as they two sides look to have reached a deal over the move.

The two sides have agreed a price of £20m from Ayew to move from Swansea to West Ham, agents close to the deal have Ghana's leading football news outfit, GHANAsoccernet.com

Abedi Pele, the three-time African Footballer of the Year, who is also the father of the Swansea player, arrived in London this week to supervise the move.

His arrival signals that the deal is on the verge of being concluded for Andre to move to London.

The Ghana legend, popularly called 'The Maestro', is in full charge of negotiating the personal terms of his second son Andre Ayew.

A tough negotiator, Abedi Pele will iron out all the knotty points to ensure Andre gets the best out of the deal - better than what he earned at Swansea.

Even though a deal has been reached, Swansea are yet to formally accept the Hammers offer as they are seeking replacements before Ayew's departure.

The Welsh club concede that a departure from the club is in the offing for Ayew with coach Slaven Bilic remaining eager to bring in the Ghana star.

The Ghana deputy captain arrived in south Wales on a free transfer last season from French giants Marseille.

He hit the ground running in the English Premier League by scoring his first goal on his Premier League debut against Chelsea.

He was named the league's player of the month in August for his excellent showing.
