Asamoah Gyan inch closer to Besiktas move

Black Stars attacker Asamoah Gyan is close in joining Turkish Club Besiktas, according to reports in the media.
 
Gyan could be joining the Super Lig Club on loan from Chinese Club Shanghai SIPG.

Representative of the Ghanaian international is said to have arrived in Turkey to finalize a deal with Besiktas.

The 30-year-old has been deemed surplus at his Chinese Club due to his constant injuries woes.

The striker is set to make a return to European football after four years in Asia.

The player joined UAE side Al Ain after a fruitful short spell with English Premier League side Sunderland.

He had previously featured for Italian outfit Udinese as well as French Ligue 1 side Stade Rennes.
