GFA EXCO member confirms rift between FA boss Nyantakyi and vice George Afriyie

Executive Committee member of the Ghana Football Association Wilfred Osei Palmer has revealed a rift between Ghana Football Association President Kwesi Nyantakyi and his vice George Afriyie.

According to the Tema Youth bankroller the two are no longer the best of friends due to some little disagreement among themselves.

Osei Palmer hinted the pair have not been in good terms for some time now hence advised they settle the scores between them.

“The President Nyantakyi and his vice (George Afriyie) have not been in good terms lately. They are no longer the best of friends as we used to know,” he spoke to Happy FM.

“I advise they settle all issue before it comes out of hands.”

It is unclear as to what might have sparked the sudden brawl between the Ghana Football Association President and his vice.

Nyantakyi appointed George Afriyie as his vice prior to the start of the season after former vice Fred Crenstil failed to earn a place on the executive committee of the Ghana football Association.
