Matchday 25 preview: Kotoko eyeing Aduana scalp

The Porcupine Warriors will hope to keep up the chase for a 24th title with midweek victory in Kumasi.

Asante Kotoko have a chance to make it three wins in a row when they host second-placed Aduana Stars on matchday 25 of the Ghana Premier League on Wednesday.

On the back of recent wins against Dreams and Liberty Professionals, coach Michael Osei will hope to lead the Porcupine Warriors to victory at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi, having seen his future thrown in doubt for what has been described as a topsy-turvy season.

Kotoko currently sit fourth on the league table.

Elsewhere, it would be a top of the table clash when leaders All Stars welcome Hearts of Oak, tied on points with Aduana Stars, to the Wa Park.

Techiman City chase their ninth home win of the season in their match with New Edubiase at the Nana Ameyaw Park.

At the Tema Park, Inter Allies will square off with Ebusua Dwarfs, who have won four and drawn one of their last five games.

Referee Amofa Sarkodie will be the central man when Berekum Chelsea lock horns with Sekondi Hasaacas at the Golden City Park.

Reigning champions Ashanti Gold are eyeing maximum points in their home encounter with Liberty, following Saturday’s 1-1 stalemate with Dreams.

Speak of Dreams, the Dawu-based outfit face a tricky trip to Sogakope, where a date with Wafa awaits.

And finally at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park, Caf Confederation Cup campaigners Medeama play as guests to Bechem United.
