Veep Extols Methodist Church Of Ghana For Rekindling Moral Education

Vice President, His Excellency Kwesi Amissah-Arthur has called on churches to make their sanctuaries a place of giving and not receiving.

He made this passionate appeal at the Methodist Church of Ghana to rekindle the heritage of ethical and moral education in the country.

Speaking as a Special Guest of Honour and a member of the church at the 9th Biennial and 47th Conference at the Gaddiel Acqaah Cathedral of the Methodist church in Tarkwa Nzemaline, Mr Amissah Arthur reiterated that his appeal has been the heritage of the Methodist church of Ghana.

The conference was under the theme Go and make disciples of all nations: ““Rekindling the Methodist Evangelical Heritage for Church Growth”.

He said though he supports the idea of government giving back missions schools to the church, members of the mission churches need to understand that such handing over ceremonies takes time to be concluded.

He congratulated the Methodist Church the role it has played in church nurturing the lives of students through education.
