New Edubiase Striker Reveals WA All Stars In Match-fixing Allegation

New Edubiase attacker Prince Antwi has made a staunch allegation against WA All Stars after revealing the latter fixed their match-day 4 fixture at the WA Park.

According to the striker both teams (WA All Stars and New Edubiase) went into agreement to have the first match go in favor of WA All Stars.

His revelation comes after WA All Stars recorded the double over the Bekwai-based side on Sunday to keep their title hopes alive.

"It is true, that is how the case was [to lose in Wa against All Stars and win at home] they want to win the league that is why he didn't follow the agreement . . .," Antwi told Dess FM.

“Our game in Wa was a fixed match that's why I and several top players were benched.”

Issues of match-fixing have been under scrutiny in our local game since the beginning of the season.

WA All Stars lead the table with 45 points after 26 match-days.

Coach Enors Adepa’s side are in pole position to win the League trophy for the first time.

The Ghana Football Association meanwhile are expected to take immediate action of the said claims by the New Edubaise player.
