Fulham joins chase for Asamoah Gyan

English Championship side Fulham is interested in signing Ghanaian striker Asamoah Gyan, according to reports.

The former Sunderland attacker has fallen out of favour at Chinese Club Shanghai SIPG following the arrival of  £47m Brazilian forward Hulk.

Sky Sports reports Gyan would welcome the chance to work under Slavisa Jokanovic in the Championship.

The 30-year-old is expected to fly to London for a medical before the end of the week.

Gyan could be making a return to England after four years having left Sunderland in 2012 to join UAE side Al Ain.

The former Africa Footballer of the year finalist is also reported to be on the radar of Premier League side Hull City.
