Kula Shines At Chalewote 2016

This year's ChaleWote Street Art Festival had a bigger crowd than that of last year and also a vast display of various forms of art. It also became an avenue for discovering talents. Although there were different stations dedicated to presenting different forms of art, one place that had all the buzz was the YOYOTINZ RoboSapiens HipHop Station.

There were a lot of awesome acts. Dancers, Beat Boxers, DJs and Rappers who all gave awesome performances but one act that really got the crowd loud in cheers was Kula.

Kula started his set with a freestyle which combined some Ghanaian musicians and their signature phrases and song titles into one story. He then proceeded to educate the crowd with his song "Mama Africa".

Few minutes later, all in attendance were shouting "AMEN" in unison as Kula showed more rap skills with his hit single Amen followed by a performance of the ever creative Musiga High School which he used to close his set. The crowd chanted for more but that was all they were going to get as Kula had to save some of the energy for the Main ChaleWote Stage at Mantse Agbonaa.

As expected of him, the thousands of audience at Mantse Agbonaa also got their share of "the Kula effect". He was undoubtedly the crowd's favorite artiste for the night.

Many musicians passed through this year's ChaleWote Street Art Festival but one that caught our attention and had his name trending throughout the festival was Kula ... And even after the festival, we still can't seem to get over the awesome stage craft and live performance he entertained us with.
