Kasapreko Grabs Made In Ghana Award As Dr Adjei Is Named Top Industrialist

The Founder and Group Chairman of Kasapreko Company Limited, Dr Kwabena Adjei has been named the “Industrialist of The Year” at the recently-held Made in Ghana Product and Service Award 2016 ceremony organized by the Entrepreneur Foundation of Ghana (EFG) under the auspices of the Ministry of Trade and Industry.

Dr Adjei grabbed the coveted award for his outstanding leadership in promoting industrialization by expanding the frontiers of his company Kasapreko to become the first Ghanaian-owned total beverage manufacturer with over 600 workers.

Kasapreko also took home the enviable “Manufacturing Industry of the Year” award beating off other companies in the sector. The company invested about $70 million last year into its factory lines to boost production, a bold move lauded by industry experts to create more jobs in the Ghanaian economy.

Commenting on the awards, Dr Kwabena Adjei said “We made a remarkable footprint in the year 2015 - It was a year we became a total beverage company to satisfy the changing needs of our consumers. We dedicate these awards to all our stakeholders and our consumers for supporting us and Made in Ghana products”.

According to Dr Adjei, there are plans set to expand the company’s range of brands to deliver many more great tasting beverages to the market.

As a member of the Ghana Club 100, Kasapreko is a true representation of an authentically Ghanaian corporate brand. The business was birthed out of a goal to provide quality drinks at affordable prices for the Ghanaian; a vision that has now expanded to a global focus.
