Grant calls up two more players for Ghana-Rwanda tie

The Black Stars coach has invited the duo to make up for expected late arrivals of three first team players.

Ghana coach Avram has drafted in two more home-based players for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier with Rwanda on Saturday.

The Israeli has handed late call-ups to Bechem United forward and Ghana Premier League third highest scorer Abednego Tetteh as well as Emmanuel Ocran of Wa All Stars.

The latest development is a result of expected late arrivals of three members of Grant's 23-man squad.

Chelsea winger Christian Atsu, Jordan Ayew of Aston Villa and captain Asamoah Gyan are expected to make late arrivals for Saturday's dead rubber.

Asante Kotoko forward Dauda Mohammed had earlier replaced injured Ebenezer Assifuah on Tuesday.

Seven points clear at the top, Ghana have already qualified for the tournament to be hosted by Gabon, while Rwanda are already out of contention after two defeats in their last two matches.
