Breman Asabiem gets school complex

The District Chief Executive for Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa, Mrs Georgina Nkrumah Aboah, has said the government has put in place a lot of interventions that would ensure the growth of the private sector. Mrs Aboah said this at a durbar to inaugurate a new primary school complex, made up of a six-unit classroom clock, office and a store block with solar lights, at Breman Asabiem, in the district. It was constructed at the cost of 64,000 dollars by the Joseph Assignment Global Initiative of the New Faith Baptist Church International in partnership with Powered by Action Foundation, both of which are based in the United State of America. The sponsors also distributed school uniforms, sandals and learning materials valued at 10,000 dollars to the children in the town to encourage them attend the school. The DCE said education is the bedrock of every country's development and for that reason the government had placed a high premium on Human Capacity Building through education. Mrs Aboah, therefore, commended the sponsors for supplementing the government's efforts. Nana Kweku Adu Twum II, Breman Baako-Asabiem chief, said there was adequate land for the benefactors to construct Junior High and Senior High Schools and urged them to consider the gesture. The Reverend Dr. Alexis Felder, leader of Joseph Assignment Global Initiative, thanked the district assembly, the chiefs and people of the district for the hospitality given expressed the hope to construct other facilities to improve the livelihood of the people.
