Ghanaians Should See Diversity As A Blessing

The Ameer and Missionary in charge of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in Ghana, Alhaji Maulvi Noor Mohammed Bin Salih has charged Ghanaians to see our diversity in persons, religion, language, and tribes as a blessing.

The Ameer who likened the perfect example of embracing variety for a common goal to this year’s Jalsa Salana (Annual Gathering of the Ahmadiya Community) said ‘’...beauty of whatever you have in the world is based on variety, variety is the spice of life as it is said. For instance this convention which we’ve just attended, you can find that people come from all parts of the world, speak different languages and of different colors.

Maulvi Noor Mohammed further told Kwaku Owusu Frimpong at 50th Jalsa Salana of the Ahamadiya Muslim Community that …‘We’ve all come under one banner and that banner unites and makes us one and the same people. So there is peace, there’s love, there’s affection, there’s peaceful co-existence. It’s the same thing like a country’’.

He further called on Ghanaians to appreciate the fact that, though the country is made of different people, culture and religion, the people all answer to the term ‘’Ghanaians’’.

Maulvi Mohammed reiterated that as elections 2016 approached Ghanaians should eschew violence and work in the common interest of achieving peace. ‘’The different opposing political parties must see each other as people who are vying for one and the same thing’’ he added.
