Prez Mahama Only Needed Powder On His Face; He Is King Of Ghana Comedy...

Several members of the National Democratic Congress came back from Saturday’s manifesto launch with an assurance that President Mahama would be winning the 2016 election; but to a political architect like Chairman Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, worse things would happen to the NDC.

Shortly after the NDC launched their manifesto at Sunyani, Mr. Antwi-Boasiako disclosed to Peacefmonline.com that he had a good laugh and it brought him memories of the 90’s when veteran comedians like the late Bob Okala and Nkomode mounted the stage to tell jokes.

I have crowned him the King of Gh Comedy. He has no challenger and he does it the old school way. He only needed some fancy clothes and powder on his face to match his jokes during the launch. I think he has lost his real profession. He could have made Ghana proud on the international stage”, Wontumi said.

Mr.  Antwi-Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman ‘Wontumi’, continued that the pomp and pageantry at the NDC’s programme held at the Sunyani Coronation Park clearly shows that the ruling party was having their last feast before being voted out.

He added that the ceremony was a send-off party for President Mahama and “looking at the way he danced like Bob Okala and told jokes like Bob Santo, I can tell you that the few Ghanaians who listened to his jokes would have realized by now that he is a groomed comedian who has no place in politics”.

Last Saturday, President John Mahama officially launched the 2016 manifesto of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Sunyani.

The 80-page document is titled "Changing Lives, Transforming Ghana" and according to President Mahama, the manifesto has the best plan for the development of Ghana as it was birthed from the ideology and constitution of the party.
