I Still Dont Trust The EC Boss Kofi Jumah

Seventy nine [79] days more for Ghana to elect a President or perhaps maintain the sitting President in an election which the opposition New Patriotic Party [NPP] is torrid to win.

But the party is still doubtful of Electoral Commission boss, Madam Charlotte Osei’s supervision to conduct a free and fair election.

The NPP had earlier questioned some new changes by the EC boss and also accused her of being ‘in bed’ with the ruling party in an attempt to rig the 2016 elections.

The EC boss has vehemently voiced out that – her office will exhibit professionalism in the December 7, general elections.

But former chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Election Committee in the Manhyia North constituency, Maxwell Kofi Jumah says he still doesn’t trust the EC in anyway.

“There is no reason to have trust in the EC. I don’t trust them, I am very cautious about them. They are planning on how to help the NDC to win the elections. What kind of country are we living in?” the former Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) boss and MP for Asokwa constituency in the Ashanti region questioned in interview with NEAT FM’s morning show 'Ghana Montie'.
