The Wa Airport is expected to be ready for commercial flights by the end of this year.

Upper West Regional Minister Hon Alhaji Amin Sulemani disclosed this at Wa today at a training organized by the NDC for the Upper West NDC Election Task Force and Campaign team.

Enumerating the various development projects undertaken by President Mahamah’s government over the past four years, he said much progress has been achieved in the areas of education, health, social protection and Water supply.

According to the minister the road network which has been the region's major headache is being improved as some major road projects have been completed and others are ongoing.
