Radio Presenter Slams Emelia Brobbey...Calls Her "Arrogant"

The seemingly simmering tension between a privately-owned commercial radio station Nhyira Fm and Actress Emelia Brobbey is getting hotter and hotter by the day.

Bright Kankam Boadu, a Sports Presenter at the station has waded into the fray firing salvos at Beautiful Actress Emelia Brobbey describing her as "arrogant".

According to the Nhyira Fm sports show host, actress Emelia Brobbey needs an attitudinal change.

It would be recalled that on a 4th June, 2016, Entertainment program aired by the Kumasi-based radio station dubbed "Entertainment Power" hosted by Fiifi Okran known in media circles as Okukuseku, pundits on the show slammed the renowned actress for failing to fulfil promises she made to the Cherubs Orphanage after organizing a musical concert dubbed "SAVE the Orphans’’ at Golden Tulip Kumasi City.

SeanCitygh.com is reliably informed that three Days after the airing of the said program on NhyiraFM, Emelia Brobbey together with her team and a colleague actor Big Akwess presented a cheque of Gh10, 000 to Cherubs Orphanage.

Confirming the donation to Nhyira Fm Entertainment Power last Saturday, a furious Emelia Brobbey lambasted Okukuseku for trying to bring her hard earn reputation into disrepute.

According to her, she made the donation in good faith and not as a result of the "bashing or needless pressure" from Nhyira Fm.

"I don’t render my financial account to Nhyira Fm so this pettiness and jealousy must stop...I don’t really know what Okukuseku and his team wants from me, you still have the CEO of Cherubs' contact you can verify from him," she told Nana Nyameke sit-in host.

But it appears Emelia's choice of words did not go down well with Bright Kankam Boadu.

The Sports Presenter, who claimed he was listening to the program from afar called in and slammed her (Emelia) for what he described as the actress' arrogant posture on-air.

He urged her to be decorous in her speech when speaking on radio, "I think clearly she is ignorant about what she is doing, a lady of her caliber must learn how to speaK well especially on radio".

Her arrogant posture must stop; from now on, I'm not going to watch her movies, even if I see her on TV I will switch off my TV set," he fumed.
