The Convention People’s Party has nominated Nana Gabby Nsiah Nketiah as the running mate of their 2016 Flagbearer, Ivor Kobina Greenstreet.

Nana Gabby is a retired Diplomat, Traditional Ruler and a businessman. He was born on 1st October 1943 at Fiapre near Sunyani in the Brong Ahafo region of Ghana. He has a strong Nkrumaist background and as a guitarist he occasionally performed for Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. He is an engineer by profession and has served both in the Ghana and British Army.

The party took this decision squarely on the account of his versatility, understanding of party’s philosophies and his great exposure and maturity. By this nomination the party hopes he will effectively compliment the Flag-bearer given his deep understanding of the predicaments of the country. Nana Gabby Nsiah is married to Monica Nee Kusi and has been blessed with five children.
