The Member of Parliament (MP) for La Dedekotopon, Hon. Nii Amasah Namoale has disclosed that he has people in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) who feed him with information on daily basis.
“I have NDC members part of the NPP, who are there to keep the party (NDC) updated on plans and information’s from the camp of the NPP” he said.
MP for the Trobo Constituency, Hon. Moses Anim who was also on the show drew his attention to the fact that he is not shocked such words are coming from him because they are very much aware on how the NDC have on several occasions investigated the flagberarer of their party, Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo-Addo and his running mate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia but have not got any 'dirt' to be leveled against them.
Namoale rejected claims by Moses Anim that the NDC has investigated NPP’s flagberarer and his running mate. Rather, he stressed “Nana Addo would have been prevented by the EC from contesting the 2016 presidential race should he be investigated due to his corruption background”.
He continued “we have left him to contest because we know how worst his results would be after the elections and we want him to face this defeat naturally and not he blaming the NDC for its investigations conducted, if he should be prevented through this means”.
EC disqualification
Namoale also spoke to the 13 presidential aspirants who have been disqualified by the Electoral Commission.
According to him, “it would be a good decision for EC to give another chance to the disqualified presidential candidates; to go through their nomination forms thoroughly before submission”, he said while contributing to a panel discussion on UTV’s ‘Adekye Nsroma, Thursday.
