The Great Consolidated Popular Party (GCPP) will be first on the ballot paper during the December 7 parliamentary elections.

They will be followed by the Progressive People’s Party (PPP) and the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC).

The Electoral Commission on Thursday invited the various political parties to ballot for their spots on the parliamentary ballot paper Election 2016.
 
The balloting took place at the Inter Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) conference hall at the Electoral Commission headquarters in Accra.

In all, seven (7) political parties took part in the balloting.

The eight political parties were not available for balloting as a result, the EC decided to arrange them in the order in which they filed their nominations.

Below is how the political parties will appear on the ballot paper:

1. Great Consolidated Popular Party (GCPP)

2. Progressive People’s Party (PPP)

3. National Democratic Congress (NDC)

4. United Progressive Party (UPP)

5. New Patriotic Party (NPP)

6. National Democratic Party (NDP)

7. Independent People's Party (IPP)

8. United Front Party (UFP)

9. All People's Party (APC)

10. Reformed Patriotic Democrats (RPD)

11. Unity Systems Development Party (USDP)

12. Ghana Freedom Party (GFP)

13. Convention People's Party (CPP)

14. People's National Convention (PNC)

15. Democratic People's Party (DPP)
