Veep Sees Off France Prime Minister After State Visit (PHOTOS)

To enhance the bilateral relations Ghana and France, the two nations have committed themselves to a higher level of cooperation.  

France, apart from supporting Ghana in areas of counter terrorism and investment in the economy, has decided to set up a business friendly agency in Accra soon to support small and medium enterprises.

The Prime Minister of France, Manuel Valls said this to the media at the airport at the end of his two-day state visit to Ghana.

He was confident that the December 7 election will pass off peacefully. The high point of Prime Minister Valls' visit was the close door meeting he held with President Mahama at the flagstaff house.

The two leaders discussed among other things economic co-operation, counter terrorism and security in the ECOWAS.

The Vice President Kwesi Amissah – Arthur received him on his arrival and a state dinner was held in honour of his visit to Ghana.
