Faith and Move Organisation Supports The Poor At Ayisikrom

Faith and Move Organisation (NGO) has donated to items to poor children and female adults in Ayisikrom around the Suhum area.

Operation help the poor smile 2016 was made successful through individual and group contributions.  According to Mr. Kankam  Asamoah Samuel( FMO member) most of the food items in the area have the potential to be contaminated with salmonella.

This can result in a very nasty stomach upsets presenting with diarrhoea and vomiting. FMO visited a school called Saviour D/A Basics School in the area and the school have unclean kitchen, very harmful toilet, no school urinal, no borehole or good drinking water for the children.

Through discussion with the children and the people, Mr. Ntem Amankwah Decosta (the headmaster of the school) admitted to it that the school have no text books and the children cannot afford the cost of note books and exercise books, the school need toilet place and the current state of the toilet can easily collapse.

A member of FMO team, Mr Richard Asare said the community needs good drinking water, cloths for the children and adults, sponges, kitchen utensils, mosquito’s net and biblical materials.

The poor state of the community was inconsistent with its impact on education and the children are feeling unwell. Many people in the community die of diarrhoea diseases especially the children.

Deacon Dennis Larbi, director of Faith and Move Organisation (NGO) told Peacefmonline.com that giving to the poor is like lending to God and quoted proverbs 19:17, ‘He who is kind to the poor lends to the Lord and He will reward him for what he has done’.

Faith and Move Organisation donated some undisclosed items to the children and female adults in the community and the people were very happy with the gifts. Operations Manager of FMO (Mr Obed Twerefour Faakye) entreated everyone to support Faith and Move Organisation.

Faith and Move Organisation representatives for the donation were Mr Kankam Asamoah Samuel, Mr Richard Asare, Madam Cecilia Larbi, Madam Barbara Danu, Mr Richard Adjani, Mr Francis Opoku Dankwah and Sister Adelaide.
