Eschew Tribalism In 2016 Election- Veep Cautions

The Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur has stated that for those being tribal prior to the general elections, it is better for electorates to ignore them since they have no message.

He also called on Ghanaians to ignore noise makers and vote for the NDC during the 2016 for continuity.

He made the statement when he made a whistle stop at Nalerigu in the Northern Region as part of his two day campaign tour to the region.

He called on the electorate to avoid the issue of spoilt ballots because it mostly happens in NDC strong holds hence the need to educate the people on how to avoid that.

Vice President said the NDC party is a unified party and also eschews violence.

He said even though they are working to get the economy better, there were still a lot to be done hence the need allow them to continue ruling Ghana.

He used the opportunity to introduce the NDC’s Parliamentary Candidate for Gambaga Nalerigu Constituency, Baba Seidu Issifu

Before the whistle stop, Vice President Kwesi Amissah Arthur, as a sign of respect   called on the Overlord of the Mamprugu Traditional Area, Naa Bohagu Mahami Abdullai Sheriga,

The overlord blessed the campaign of the ruling NDC and hoped that their effort to retain power will not be in vain.

He acknowledged the difficulties of campaign and prayed for peaceful polls in December.

Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur assured the Nayiri that the NDC will continue to educate its supporters against violence.

He said the NDC is also using the campaign to set the record straight over the falsehood being peddled about the government by the NPP.

Vice President Amissah-Arthur said President John Dramani Mahama has done a lot and he needs to be retained to continue with the good work he is doing for another four years.
