An Accra High Court has ordered the Electoral Commission (EC) to give flagbearer of the All People’s Congress (APC), Hassan Ayariga an opportunity to correct the mistakes in his nomination forms.

The court presided over by Justice Barbara Charway described the EC's decision to disqualify the APC flagbearer as 'absurd' adding, the EC acted unfairly. 

Justice Charway also indicated that Madam Charlotte Osei should have been more patient in dealing with the matter especially as it dealt with elections.

The EC’s decision has therefore been squashed by the court.
