Volta NDC Supporters Urged To Ignore NPP Intimidation On Dec 7th

A leading member of the NDC Madam Faustina Nelson has told supporters of the NDC in the Volta region not to feel intimidated by the NPP but turn up in their numbers on December 7th to vote for the NDC for a first round victory.

She made the statement at a rally at Brewaniasi in the Nkwanta South Constituency as part of activities for the five -day campaign tour of the Volta region by the Chief of Staff Mr Julius Debrah.

It would be recalled that the Volta regional branch of the NPP launched "Operation Eagle Eye" aimed at preventing Togolese from illegally voting in Ghana on election Day.

However, Madam Faustina Nelson said the December 7th election is a serious business or struggle for political power which requires all registered NDC supporters not to be in their rooms but come out to vote massively for the party.

The President of Chala Traditional Area Nana Kanewu Cheddreh Addo II commended President Mahama for the numerous development projects undertaken across the country adding that President Mahama deserves another mandate to continue to develop the country.

Other dignitaries who addressed the rally were Mr Kwamena Ahwoi, a leading member of the NDC and former Minister of Local Government and Rural Development and Lawyer Godwin Aduji Tamakloe, NDC Greater Accra Deputy Youth Organizer.
