The Parliament Candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) at Odododiodioo Constituency, Nii Lante Bannerman, has reacted to poll results by Daily Dispatch that puts Nii Lantey Vanderpuye ahead of him as the days draw near for the December polls. 

According to the newspaper’s report, Nii Lantey Vanderpuye, who doubles as the Minister of Youth and Sports and the incumbent member of parliament for the Odododiodioo constituency is going to retain the parliamentary seat on the basis of his hard work. 

But in a sharp response, banker Nii Lante Bannerman said, “Mr. Ben Epson did the poll out of ignorance on the grounds. He doesn’t know the reality on the grounds or maybe he is not abreast with the massive youth unemployment problem at Odododiodioo”.

“I have been notified with the said poll from Mr. Ben Ephson that suggest that Vanderpuye is retaining the seat and its very funny.  Let me reiterate that Nii Lantey Vanderpuye has failed the youth in Odododiodioo and that alone makes him a loser, he couldn’t honour even a single project he promised the youth of Odododiodioo”, he alleged.

Nii Banner quizzed, “Vanderpuye promised to reopen the Salaga market, build new slaughter house, build cold store for the fishermen but he failed, he couldn’t even start a single project in the constituency, so I can’t phantom the hard work Ben Ephson is talking about, even Vanderpuye himself is ashamed of talking about hardwork in the constituency, so where did Mr. Ephson get the hard work status from?

 “If Mr. Ben Ephson wants to know who is winning this year’s election he should come to Odododiodioo and stop relying on past results, the fraud and intimidations that happened in 2012 election will not repeat itself in this year’s election”, he assured.

Speaking on the credibility of the poll, he said, “I don’t know the factors he took into consideration before arriving at that conclusion, I don’t know the barometer he used but the poll lacks fact and it should be treated with the necessary contempt it deserves”, Nii Lante Bannerman bemoaned.
