Prestea Chief Endorses Mahama

The Chief of Prestea Traditional Area, Nana Ntaboah Prah IV has urged the electorate in the area to kick against any ‘skirt and blouse’ voting in the area by maintaining President John Dramani Mahama and the National Democratic Congress’ parliamentary candidates.

The chief, who endorsed the second term bid of the President said, voting against the NDC parliamentary candidate would delay the development of the area.

Nana Ntaboah Prah IV said this on Tuesday, 8 November when Vice President Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur paid a courtesy call on him at his palace to begin his four-day tour of the Western Region.

He noted that there is nothing like ‘skirt and blouse’ voting in Ghana's election and has urged his people to vote for President Mahama and the NDC parliamentary candidate for Prestea Huni-Valley Constituency, Wisdom Robert Cudjoe.

The Chief linguist, Okyeame Abrefa Ababio, while pouring libation also called on the gods to help President Mahama win.

For his part, Mr Amissah-Arthur emphasised the need for Ghanaians to vote massively for President Mahama in the December polls.

According to him, President Mahama has started numerous development projects hence the need to be given a second term to continue with the projects.

He assured the people that government will work assiduously to ensure the completion of the Prestia town roads.
