Opportunities For Entrepreneurs, SMEs Under MAHAMA's 2nd Term - Julius Debrah

Chief of Staff has disclosed that the second term Of President John Mahama will prioritize a policy initiative that will focus on promoting indigenous business development.

The initiative according to him will enhance entrepreneurship through financial support and skills development to enable the youth create their own jobs and open up avenues for their peers.

Mr DEBRAH who was addressing a cross section of the public including the youth, traders, and party members at Nsawam on Tuesday said a president John MAHAMA has committed himself to opening up the country through infrastructure development in the area of roads, schools, health, provision of water which have created jobs from the construction stage to those to be formally employed as professionals in the various institutions established.

He however said there are still thousands who still fall within the bracket who have not been lucky enough to get direct jobs and would have to take advantage of the opportunities to be made available through MASLOC, YES and the EXIM bank that is about to be established.

Mr. Debrah said Eastern region will be one of the priority areas just like other regions and advised the youth especially to also begin to psyche themselves to take advantage of the Green Revolution captured in the NDC 2016 manifesto.

He explained that the Second term of the Mahama administration will open up farm mechanized centers where farmers will get direct access to tractors and other farm inputs on credit basis and pay back after harvest.
