The Winneba Magistrate Court has issued a warrant for the arrest of a 28-year-old taxi driver Ainoo Augustine Kofi.
The suspect allegedly led a gang of thieves to break into the office of the Awutu Effutu Senya Teachers Cooperative Credit Union Limited at Town Hall in an attempt to steal money.
The suspect, who was driving a Daewoo taxi with registration number GS 3698-11, together with his accomplices, allegedly abandoned the vehicle and bolted when an alarm was raised by a resident.
He is about 5 feet tall and hails from Elmina in the Central Region.
He is believed to be hiding in North Kaneshie, Accra and Tarkwa and its environs.
