Celebrities Have Taken It A Job To Endorse Mahama Because Of "Hunger" - Atik

Atik Mohammed says celebrities who have endorsed President John Dramani Mahama for a second term in office are doing so for financial gains.

Speaking on Peace FM's Kokrokoo, the PNC General Secretary opined that the celebrities do not believe in the campaign promises of the President but are compelled to rally behind him because some are apparently broke.

Celebrities like actor John Dumelo and female musician Mzbel among several others have been on a campaign mission to ensure that the President emerges victor in the December 7 polls.

To Atik Mohammed, the celebrities are only "hungry" and so, have no choice but to endorse President Mahama so they can earn a living.

“It is not because they believe that the NDC has delivered and NDC or the government has done that which it promised and so on . . . It is not as if these are people who believe in the NDC package and the NDC output but because of hunger, they have taken it as a job. So, I have every belief that as for change; it is inevitable," he stated.
