Zongo Youth Must Reject Troublemakers - Amissah-Arthur

Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur has called on Zongo Chiefs to advice the youth not to allow others to use them to foment troubles.

The Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur made this remarks when he called on the Zongo Chiefs at Agona Swedru as part of his five days campaign visit to the Central Region.

He noted that youth from the Zongo areas were very peaceful people and for this reason, must not listen to those who come in the name of violence. 

He said his purpose there was to pay homepage to the chiefs and also seek their permission  to campaign in their area.

Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur also used the occasion to introduce the NDC’s parliamentary candidate for the Agona West Constituency Lawyer Obeng Inkoom, to the electorate.           

Addressing hundreds of party supporters at a rally, he called on the youth not to engage in any act of violence and to do well to vote massively for the NDC.

He gave them an assurance that this year’s elections was going to be peaceful and advised them to close their ears to the threats from the opposition.
