Ivor Greenstreet Won't Even Vote For Himself Prophet Kobi

A renowned prophet has predicted the Convention Peoples Party (CPP) will be the last in the December 7 presidential and parliamentary elections.

According to Prophet Emmanuel Badu-Kobi, the leadership of the Nkrumahist party has 'mortgage' the CPP for their personal interest.

Addressing his congregation during an all-night service Friday, the outspoken leader alleged the flagbearer of the CPP, Ivor Kwabena Greenstreet “will not vote for himself".

“The CPP will be the last in the elections; even their leader [Ivor Greenstreet] will vote for President Mahama” he stated.

His comment somewhat corroborate allegations by some CPP members that the current leadership are in bed with the ruling National Democratic Congress (CPP).

Suspended CPP General Secretary and Youth Organizer, Ernesto Yeboah accused their flagbearer of championing the cause of the NDC to the deterrent of the party.

Also, some political pundits who have been monitoring the CPP’s campaign likened it to 2012 when the then flagbearer of the Peoples National Convention (PNC), Hassan Ayariga was rather attacking the opposition NPP instead of marketing himself.

But the CPP leadership has vehemently denied such allegation insisting that it is an independent political party seeking to end the NDC and NPP monopoly of Ghana's body politic.

However, Prophet Emmanuel Badu-Kobi maintained that, the CPP led by Ivor Greenstreet is just 'playing the ostrich'.

He maintained that, majority of the CPP current leadership will vote for President Mahama in the December polls to retain the seat.
