Ghanaians Now Want Evidence Based Projects And Not Promises Alhaji Halidu Tells NPP

A member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) communication team, Alhaji Haruna Halidu has told members of the NPP not to assume their party would be voted for in the upcoming elections due to their promises made.

To him, they [members of NPP] are just creating controversies with lots of agitations against the Electoral Commission [EC] to create an impression of it rigging the elections, after indications from their encampment shows clearly of their defeat.

“I am very sure citizens would look up to the developmental projects embarked on by President John Dramani Mahama and his government, than voting for the numerous promises from the NPP. We would vote on evidence based projects than mere promises.”

Speaking on UTV’s ‘Adekye Nsroma’ programme, Alhaji Hallidu labeled the largest opposition party as a deceit type, which sold state properties to pay some part of the loans they lobbied for when former President Kufour was in power, yet this same party now claim it would not take loans and as well take off all taxes when it is elected into power.

“So how are those promises going to be fulfilled?” he asked.

“This nation will regret forever if it test Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and his NPP,” he told Lawyer Tweneboa Koduah.
