The only Independent presidential candidate who contested the 2016 elections has congratulated the NPP’s flagbearer, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for "winning" the 2016 Presidential elections ahead of EC’s declaration.

Jacob Osei Yeboah, popularly called ‘JOY 2012’ told Peacefmonline.com that “Nana Addo is the chosen one and there is nothing we can do about that”

“I will like to congratulate Nana Akufo-Addo of the NPP for winning the 2016 general elections based on my factual projections” he added

He further called on the other political parties to concede defeat “especially the sitting president.” To congratulate “Nana Addo as the president elect”
