Prez Mahama Couldn't Even Fake A Smile During SoNA- Yusif

All eyes were President Mahama yesterday as he delivered his final public address which brought to a close his tenure as President. The manner in which he carried himself on stage was one area most people paid keen attention to.

A communication team member of the Progressive People’s Party, Yusif Abdul-Rahman Laari has stated that President Mahama even found it hard to fake a smile when he stood on stage to address the nation.

Speaking on ATV’s Asem Yi Di Ka, the PPP’s former Parliamentary candidate for Anya Sowutuom, noted that he was highly surprised when President Mahama couldn’t lace his speech yesterday with ice breakers he used to perform at first to lighten the place up.

“President Mahama has taught me a serious lesson in life. He has taught me that everything has an end- when he was delivering his opeach- he has done it four times and each time he did it, he had smiles all around me- he never smiled yesterday.

President John Dramani Mahama yesterday delivered his final State of the Nation Address. It was in accordance with Article 67 of the 1992 Constitution of Ghana which states; “The President shall, at the beginning of each session of Parliament and before dissolution of Parliament, deliver a message on the state of the nation”.

President Mahama used the opportunity to tout his achievements during his tenure before he makes way for the incoming President, Nana Akufo-Addo, on January 7, 2017.
