Mother Teresa's Sisters Orphanage receives donation

The Missionaries of Charity of Mother Teresa’s Sisters Orphanage at Ashaiman, had received a donation of children’s clothing worth $ 25,000 from a Travel Nurse; Mr Anthony Kokutse, who is based in the United States (US).

Speaking during the presentation, Mr Kokutse said the donation came from a philanthropist- Madam Karen Hall, who is in-charge of the Central Texas Orphanage Mission in the US.

He said Madam Hall decided to donate the items to put smiles on the faces of the orphans.

The items include footballs, first aid and wound kits, assorted children clothing, toys, blankets, towels and shoes.

The Supervisor of the Home, which is near Tema in the Greater Accra Region, Reverend Sister Pascalette, expressed gratitude to the Mr Kokutse and Madam Karen Hall for the kind gesture and said the items, would be distributed to the 23 inmates.

The Orphanage was established 23 years ago.
