Mallam Sham Una Ustaz Jibril says he will cease operating as a spiritual predictor should Gambia’s Yahaya Jammeh succeed to lead his country as president.

The Islamic cleric, numerologist, philosopher and acclaimed spiritual soothsayer noted that he has already predicted “doom” for the embattled president and that is unchangeable.

“I predicted doom for Yahaya Jammeh on my facebook wall dated 4th January 2016 last year almost nine months before Gambia elections, and eventually the incumbent Yahaya Jammeh lost the election to Adama Barrow,” he said.

Gambian President Yahya Jammeh is refusing to step down despite the threat of military intervention by neighbouring states.

Adama Barrow, who beat him in elections last month, is due to be inaugurated as the new president on Thursday, but Mr Jammeh has ignored the deadline.

West African military forces are ready to enforce a transfer of power.

Speaking to Peacefmonline.com the world acclaimed soothsayer insists that – “No matter what, the opposition leader will be sworn as new President”.

According to him, should that backfire “I Mallam Sham una Ustaz Jibril will resign from Spiritual prediction and prophecies”

“I call on all Muslims across the globe to condemn the act of Yahya Jammeh and call him to the teachings of the Quran and the words of the Holy Prophet Mohammed (S A W), He should respect the Quran he is holding and should act within the context of the book (Holy Quran) and see to the welfare of Gambians as a nation not him an individual to let the sleeping dogs lie.”

“May the almight Allah have Mercy on Gambia and Gambians and protect innocent souls and properties,” Mallam Sham Una Ustaz Jibril added.
