Blow For Ghana As Asamoah Gyan Suffers Injury In Egypt Game
Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan could miss the team’s quarterfinal clash after suffering an injury in the final Group game against Egypt.
The Al Ahli striker picked up what looked like a groin injury following a challenge from Egypt defender Ahmed Elmohamady.
Gyan could not continue the game after he singled to be substituted in the 38th minute.
The forward who was replaced by Jordan Ayew in the game will be further assessed to know whether he can feature in the team quarterfinal clash.
