Return State Assets Now!- Chief Of Staff To Unlawful Owners

In the interest of the nation, government has set up a task force team to recover assets which belong to the nation.

A directive from the Chief of Staff to the general public, entreats all persons who have acquired state properties in an unlawful way to hand them over with immediate effect.

As a result, a team, comprising officials from the Police, Customs Division, BNI, DVLA and the Office of the President has been assembled to retrieve such belongings.

A telephone number has also been provided for the public to call and report persons who refuse to turn in such assets in their possession.

Statement On Retrieval Of State Assets Unlawfully Possessed By Individuals

The Office of the Chief of Staff is informed of various state assets, including landed properties and vehicles, which are yet to be handed over to government by individuals, contrary to law.

Consequently, government has set up a team comprising officials from the following departments to coordinate the location and retrieval of all such assets in the National Interest:

-          The Ghana Police Service

-          The Ghana Revenue Authority (Customs Division)

-          The Bureau of National Investigations

-          The Driver Vehicle Licensing Authority

-          Office of the President

Persons with state properties unlawfully in their possession should endeavour to contact the Task Force and make arrangements to surrender same with immediate effect.

The general public is also, hereby, encouraged to provide information on any properties believed to be within the above-mentioned category to the Task-Force via the details below:
