ACC holds Revival

Prophet Francis Koomson, General Overseer, the Church of Patmos, at Amasaman in the Ga West District, has called on the youth to take their education seriously to enable them contribute to national development. He said education played a very important role in the socio-economic development of every nation and that without education it would be very difficult for the citizenry to contribute effectively to national development. Prophet Koomson was a guest speaker at the end of a four-day revival of the Apostles Continuation Church International at Dansoman in Accra on Sunday. About 500 members of the church participated in the revival which was under the theme: 'The Glory of God'. Prophet Koomson urged Christians to put their trust in God for all their needs and also abide by his commandments. 'God is love', he said, adding: "his love endureth for ever and he should therefore be glorified at all times." Prophet Isaac Osei Frempong, Head Pastor of the Apostles Continuation Church International, said Christians would be doing disservice to the nation if they did not allow the teachings of Jesus Christ reflect in their daily lives. He urged drivers to exercise extra care on the roads as the celebration of Christmas draws nearer to make the occasion accident-free.
