Fred Agbenyo, Deputy Communications Director of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), has called on the government to stop hounding officials of the past government.

According to him, the culture where a successive government decides to retaliate the actions of a previous government should not be encouraged again.

Fred Agbenyo was commenting on the recent actions of the government in the seizure of vehicles from past officials and the disclosure that over 200 vehicles have gone missing from the Flagstaff House.

Director of Communications at the Presidency, Eugene Arhin disclosed that over 200 cars can not be found at the Presidency.

According to government, the number of vehicles at the presidency are only 218; 173 serviceable and 45 unserviceable.

Addressing the issue on 'Kokrokoo' on Peace FM, Fred Agbenyo asked the government to reveal the details of the missing cars.

He told host Kwami Sefa Kayi that the government should provide the chassis number of the vehicles, description and other vital information to corroborate their claims.

To him, the government seems to be on a revenge mission but advised that it is time for Ghanaians to say "enough is enough".

“No party will be in government forever. What we are currently doing, there should be a time that all of us should say enough is enough. Similar acts were perpetrated in 2009, so should it be repeated? Won’t we pick lessons from some of these things that lower our democratic credentials? Won’t we learn nothing from this that it won’t help anybody?” he said.
