The Acting Inspector General of Police (IGP) Asante Apeatu, has made fresh postings in the law enforcement agency which has seen DCOP Alex Amponsah Asiamah of the DTS in Accra taking over the command of the Central Motor Traffic and Transport Department (CMTTD).
ACP George Alex Mensah, the Deputy Director General in-charge of Welfare, now moves to head the Eastern Region as the regional commander.
ACP Godfred Owusu Boateng, Mampong Division in the Ashanti Region, heads to Kpeshie Division in Accra as ACP Edward Oduro Kwarteng of the Offinso Division moves to the Upper West Region as the second in-command
ACP Francis Doku, Quartermaster General at the Police Headquarters, is going to the Volta Region as the second in-command as ACP Okyere Anane Danquah of the Yendi Division takes over the Dansoman Division in Accra.
ACP Frederick Ado Anim of the Atebubu Division takes over the Madina Division and ACP Jonathan A. Adams Godoe of the Inspection Unit is now the Divisional Commander for Yendi.
ACP Victor Gyan Kyereko, Divisional Commander Kpeshie, is the new Quartermaster General at the Police Headquarters.
ACP George Tweneboah of the Asankragwa Division in the Western Region heads for Formed Police Unit as ACP Kwadwo Antwi Tabi in-charge of Dansoman Division moves to Offinso.
ACP Anderson Fosu-Ackah of the CMTTD goes to the Police Academy as Commandant while ACP/Dr. Sayibu Pabi Gariba, second in-command, Upper West Region, now heads the Police Command and Staff College, Winneba.
ACP Vance Baba Gariba of the Nima Division becomes Director of the ICT Department at the Police Headquarters, Accra.
ACP Isaac Emmanuel Quist of the ICT goes to the CID headquarters in Accra while ACP Moses Ali Kpeachin of Goaso Division is now in-charge of the Asankragwa Division.
ACP Sebastian Atsu Wemegah, Director, Transport goes to Wenchi as Commander while C/Supt Michael Teku, Chief Staff Officer headquarters, goes to the Kete Krachi Division.
C/Supt Nantogmah Yakubu Aggrey of Madina goes to the National Headquarters as C/Supt Ahmed Issah Yakubu of Swedru Division heads for the Goaso Division.
C/Supt Francis Tsidi, second in-command IRD, is now the Chief Staff Officer at the headquarters with C/Supt/Abraham Acquaye of the Odorkor District moving to the Nima Division as the Commander.
C/Supt Augustine Luguyare of the Court Unit Sunyani, is now the Divisional Commander, Sunyani.
C/Supt Wisdom Lavoe of the Tamale District goes to Mampong in Ashanti as C/Supt Samuel Yankey of Sunyani goes to the Swedru Division as the Commander.
The above is the latest in the series of postings since Acting IGP David Asante-Apeatu took over the command of the law enforcement agency a few weeks ago. It is expected that more postings would be made, especially at the district levels.
