Stephen Amoah Is MASLOC CEO!

President Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo has appointed an investment consulted, Stephen Amoah as the new Chief Executive Officer of Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC).

His appointment, according to the appointment letter dated 22nd February, 2017, and signed by Executive Secretary to the President, Nana Asante Bediatuo, takes effect immediately.

Sticker, as the dye-in-the-wool NPP stalwart is affectingly referred to; takes over from Mrs. Sedina Tamakloe Attionu, who headed the centre during the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government and  is expected to discharge his duties with greet sense of professionalism.

Until his appointment, Stephen Amoah was a part-time lecturer at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), the Acting Ashanti Regional Organiser of the NPP and was the director of operations for the party during the just-ended parliamentary and presidential elections which saw Nana Akufo Addo winning convincingly to become the President of the State.

In the Ashanti region, our independent checks revealed that Stephen Amoah was one of the master brains that ensured that the party garnered as many votes at a time when the NDC was threatening to secure 1 million votes in the region.


Mr. Stephen Amoah has also served as a member of the Public Affairs Committee, National Campaign team for election 2008, who campaigned on the ground, in addition to his experience as former Ashanti Regional TESCON President.

The CEO of Zintex Company Limited effectively handled the office of Youth trainer as well as served as the resource person for training of NPP youth for community outreach activities in 2004.
The objective of MASLOC is to provide, manage and regulate on fiduciary basis, approved funds for microfinance and small scale credit schemes and programmes and also serve as the apex body of the microfinance sub sector.

MASLOC also engages directly or indirectly in microcredit and small loans business as well as promote and enhance the development of a decentralized micro financial system.
